Instructions

  1. Registering for the Event:
    • To submit an abstract, you must first register for the event.
  2. Payment of Registration:
    • The registration fee can be paid after the abstract has been submitted, at any time up to the event date, according to the rates specified on our website.
  3. Submission of Abstracts:
    • There is no limit on the number of abstracts that can be submitted co-authored per registration.
  4. Approval of the Paper:
    • All abstracts will undergo evaluation based on their technical-scientific characteristics, innovation, and the quality of the text. Authors should indicate their preference for presentation type (oral or poster) during electronic abstract submission. However, the scientific committee will make the final decision on the presentation format.
  5. Linking the Abstract:
    • After an abstract has been approved, it must be linked to a paid registration. The abstract may be linked to any paid registration, provided that the registrant is a co-author.
  6. Registration Restrictions:
    • Each registration, regardless of category (professional/academics, post-doctoral or student), entitles the author to link and present only one (1) abstract, provided that the registration fee has been paid and the abstract has been approved.
  7. Presentation:
    • Only approved abstracts linked to a paid registration may be presented.
  8. Publication in the Proceedings:
    • All abstracts linked to paid registrations will be published in the proceedings of the event.


Submission

All abstracts must be submitted electronically through the system, in English. To prepare your submission(s), please use the template provided below:

Please strictly adhere to the guidelines specified in the template to ensure correct and efficient submission.

Presentation

Oral: The slides of the works selected for oral presentation must be prepared and written in English. Authors are encouraged to present their works in English. However, at their own discretion, presentations may also be delivered in Portuguese or Spanish.

Poster: Posters must be prepared and written in English. Authors are encouraged to present their works in English. However, at their own discretion, presentations may also be delivered in Portuguese or Spanish. To prepare your poster(s), please use the template provided below:

Publication

Conference Proceedings

All papers from SLAP 2026 will be published in electronic format in the conference proceedings, which will be available as open access on the conference website.

Polímeros: Ciência e Tecnologia Journal

Authors are invited to submit full versions of their papers to the journal Polímeros: Ciência e Tecnologia, indicating that the article was presented at the SLAP 2026 and prepared according to the journal’s submission guidelines. Submissions will undergo peer review following the journal’s standard editorial process. Accepted papers will receive a 50% discount on the article processing charge and will include a mention of the congress.
